Rode Valken

Om het 100-jarig bestaan te vieren organiseren we een tekenwedstrijd.

Er zijn vijf categorieën waaruit telkens één winnaar gekozen wordt. De eerste vier categorieën zijn opgedeeld volgens de leeftijdsgroepen van de Rode Valken: nestvalken (5 tot 7 jaar), jongvalken (7 tot 11 jaar), rode valken (11 tot 14 jaar) en kernvalken (14 tot 18 jaar). Een vijfde categorie is ‘digital art’.

Dien je prachtige tekening in ten laatste op 8 september bij de lokale afdeling of op het secretariaat (Torhoutse Steenweg 294, 8200 Brugge) en maak kans op twee tickets voor Kinepolis. De winnende tekeningen zullen verwerkt worden tot een affiche. Vergeet zeker je naam, adres, geboortedatum, e-mail en/of telefoonnummer niet op de achterkant van de tekening te schrijven. Iedereen tot 18 jaar kan deelnemen.

Tekenbladen kunnen afgehaald worden bij de lokale afdelingen of download het bestand.

I am happy to say that after the “first” ESC with our volunteer Amanda (NKK), we are again applying for an ESC project.

“YOUth empower” from May 2020 to October 2020.

We are not only reapplying (February 2020) and planning but also want to improve the project with our common learning outcomes from the last project.

Attached you can find the project description. As always, if you have any questions, please let us know.

We would be very happy if you could spread this call within your organisation. Also note: the project is also live at PASS (the ESC volunteer and organization platform).

ESC_Callfor Volunteers

This year’s IFM-SEI Congress will kindly be hosted by SJD Die Falken and will take place from 5th – 8th August.

It will be held on the Willy-Brandt-Platz campsite in Reinwarzhofen, Germany straight after the IFM Camp. Hopefully all delegates will also attend the camp so that we take its spirit onwards to our Congress!

The Congress is our opportunity as a democratic, membership-based movement to contribute to the development of our international activities, to consider how best to work together for the achievement of children’s rights and to motivate and empower our members for the work ahead.

Full member organisations can send up to 5 delegates and candidate organisations can send a maximum of 2 delegates. All delegations must fulfil a women’s quota. Each delegate will pay a participation fee between 40 and 80 Euros, which is different according to world region. You can find all of this information and more in the technical information letter at the bottom of the page. The congress documents have been sent out to all member organisations. If you did not receive them, please let the secretariat know.

Van 9 tot 14 juni ‘ 15 hield het I.F.M. zijn jaarlijkse vergadering. Dit maal te Nana een buitenwijk van Lima te Peru. Een 50-tal deelnemers uit een 20-tal lid organisaties vergaderden over verschillende thema’s. Er werd gewerkt rond toekomstperspectieven van het IFM, gender equality M/V/X, interne regelgeving, financiën, enz.… Er was ook ruimte voor ontspanning, zwemmen, party’s met optredens van jongeren, bezoeken aan lokale groepen en een stadsbezoek aan Lima. Het was een vruchtbare vergadering waar vele thema’s nog verder moeten uitgewerkt worden en verspreid worden naar de lid organisaties. Een van deze thema’s is het internationaal kamp in 2016 te Nürnberg (D).
